Perhaps recently you’ve heard or read the phrase “History Day Night” and wondered what that could possibly mean. National History Day is a nationwide contest in which students in grades 6 – 12 create research projects on a theme. NHD is an essential part of the Kazoo experience, building varied necessary skills for academic progress and personal development, and the NHD curriculum at Kazoo is integrated into many months worth of classwork. This year’s theme is “Breaking Barriers in History.” Kazoo’s History Day night is an opportunity for Kazoo students in the middle school basegroup to present their projects to the school community in anticipation of the contest, and for Rose’s basegroup to display their historical book projects. Please join us March 4 at 6 pm to learn from the fruits of their labor and celebrate their work. You can read more about National History Day here: https://www.nhd.org/
