A quick note about progress reports; We do love progress report time because it is a time for us to stop and look closely at the work we have done with each student. In many ways we are not assessing the children, we are assessing ourselves: “Did we do a good job making sure this child understood this?” or “Did we go far enough with our exploration of this?” But fundamentally it is a moment to stop and look at each child’s growth.
